Littlefield TX She passed away November 30th, 2022, at the age of 92.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Elbert Cam Hardman & Dicie Adilene Emmert
Hardman, her husband Paul Price Daniel, two brothers Jim Hardman, and Donald Hardman, and her
youngest daughter Carol Ann Daniel.
Helen grew up on her family farm in Wellington TX. She graduated from Spade High School in 1946.
She attended Lippert’s Business College in Plainview TX from 1946 to 1947. She met & married Paul
Price Daniel in 1948 in Spade TX.
They moved to Lubbock in 1950, and she worked for Lubbock Independent School District office in
accounting for 26 years. She also held offices at Wester Elementary PTA, the Lubbock Council of Girl
Scouts, the Lubbock Educational Secretaries Association, and Lubbock Retired Teachers Association.
She served in her church and vacation bible school. She worked part-time after retiring as a care giver at
the Sherrick Memorial Home in Lubbock TX.
Helen & Paul had three children: Connie Sue Bickel, James Michael Daniel, and Carol Ann Daniel.
She is survived by her daughter Connie Sue Bickel of Plainview TX, two grandsons Eric Bickel, and
Geoffrey Bickel of Plainview TX, and her son James Michael Daniel of Lubbock TX.
A visitation for Helen will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79407. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Resthavens' Abbey Chapel, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. A graveside committal service will occur Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas.
