Graveside services for Harvie Wilson, 81, of Lubbock, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct 29, 2010 in Resthaven Memorial Park. Mr. Wilson passed away on Monday, Oct 25th.
Harvie was born on April 17, 1929 in Wichita Falls to O.H. and Gladys Wilson. He was a grocer and had worked for Piggly Wiggly and United Supermarkets. He played the steel guitar with various groups over the years and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald, Donnie and wife, Becky, all of Lubbock; one brother, Buddy Wilson of Kingsville; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
