Gerald Adrain Bonner, Sr., 81, of Lubbock, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on November 22, 2014. Born March 17, 1933 in Marvell, AR. to the late Ralph and Rachel (Guthrie) Bonner. He married June Tabor on September 5, 1954. He owned and operated Bonner Plumbing for over 25 years.
Preceded in death by an infant brother.
Survived by his loving wife of 60 years; daughter, Gerita (David) Holt, Wilson, TX.; sons, Jerry and Wayne (Terri) Bonner of Lubbock, TX; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brother, Bobby (Vonna) Bonner of Scott, AR, sisters-in-law, Judy McDonald and Lindel Prosser and very special David and Carrie Hayslip family.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Church, 7002 Canton Ave., Lubbock, TX 79413.
