Ethel R. Miller entered this world on June 13, 1933, to Francisco and Rosa Rodriguez in Toyahvale, TX. God need an extra angel and nurse, so he called her to rest on May 21, 2023. She went to follow family members, her husband Alvin Miller, father and mother Rosa and Francisco Rodriguez, brother Epifanio, Dulce Rodriguez, sister Janie Rodriguez. God gave her the privilege of living a very fulfilled life.
She graduated from high school and went on to become a very successful registered nurse working in various hospitals and different towns. She also loved to travel and to help people in this area of her career .
She left behind the following family who will miss her dearly; sisters Martha Vasquez of San Angelo, Pauline ( Manuel) Marmolejo of Lubbock, Mary (Mahmoud) Abbad of Pecos,Tommie Vasquez of Lubbock, and brother Francisco (Elena) Rodriguez, Jr. of Pecos, and various nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank Palliative Care Covenant Hospital. We will never be able to thank them for the care they gave to our sister and attention to the family there with her. May God bless you richly.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Resthaven Funeral Home, Lubbock, TX. Viewing will be at 6:00pm, with the rosary at 7:00pm. Eternal rest will be in Vista, California at a later date.
