Elmer Lee Scott, 72, of Lubbock went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 27, 2010. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Lee Scott Plastering and former owner of T&S Plastering. Lee was a member of Lakeridge Baptist Church.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jo Scott; son, Dennis Scott of Keller, TX, his wife Lois and their 3 children – Caitlyn, Collin, and Kennedy; two daughters, Leesa Bartoletta of Richardson, TX and her husband, Richard; and Leesa’s 3 children – April, Amanda, and Brandon; Lori Evans of Lubbock and her husband, Kenny ,and their two children Jacob and Braeden. He is also survived by his 2 stepbrothers Leonard and Milton Mantooth.
“Papa’s” main passion was his children and grandchildren.
He is preceeded in death by two brothers, Odell Scott and Leon Scott, and his stepbrother, Lafon Mantooth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 5pm-7pm at Resthaven Funeral Home at
5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407 | 806- 791-6200.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 1pm at Lakeridge Baptist Church which is located at 4601 82nd Street ; Phone number is 806- 771-0514.
Burial services will immediately follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park which is located at South Highway 87 in Lubbock. Phone number is 806-863-2241.
Pallbearers will be Brandon King, Johnny Scott, Gil Vining, Kenny Evans, Dick Barnett, and Mitch Wright.
