Donnie F. Morgan

He was preceded in death by parents Theron and Lida Morgan, two brothers Robert and Kenneth Morgan and a son, Daren Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Mae Ellen Shackelford Morgan and daughters, Gwen Morgan and Shan Sherwood of Lubbock, and Jana Reaves and her husband Vance Reaves of Allen, and brother Paul Morgan of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He was the grandfather of Danae Karvas, Daren and Mallory Sherwood, Aislyn, Maddie, Elyssa and Levi Reaves. Along with 3 great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life he was a member of the Church of Christ, being baptized at the age of 17 in Ames, OK, and was a member of Greenlawn Church of Christ after moving to Lubbock.

He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief MSGT after 27 years of service ending his career for the last 7 years at the Pentagon in the Department of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

There will be a viewing 9:30 AM on Monday in the mausoleum at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, with a graveside service at 10:30, Glen Walton, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be to High Plains Children's Home and Lubbock Meals on Wheels.
