Connie M Gonzales

Connie, was born on July 21st, 1949 to Maria De Jesus Garcia and Guillermo Rodriguez in Brownsville, Texas. She was raised by her mother and stepfather Ernesto Garcia, who would later move their family to the Lubbock area.

Connie, had six children and raised two grandchildren. She worked alongside her late husband at Good Art Candy company. She treasured her family the most. She enjoyed trips out to the lake and the flea market. In her later life she loved music and dancing around with her walker. Her favorite pastime was crossword puzzles, watching reruns of Texas Walker Ranger, and Little House on the Prairie. She will be missed dearly.

Connie, is reunited in Heaven with her son, Jose Angel Gonzales; husband Rafael R Gonzales; granddaughter, Josephina Rodriguez; two sisters, one brother, her mother, and stepfather.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Guadalupe Santoyo Jr., Noemi Santoyo Padilla, Rafael R Gonzales Jr., Eusebio Gonzales, Patricia Rodriguez, Roy Santoyo, Cassandra Rodriguez; fur baby Chikita; twenty five grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Family will begin receiving guests on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 9am with Celebration of Life Service at 10:00am in Resthavens' Abbey Chapel.
