Anita Storrs

Funeral Services for Anita Storrs, 78, will be held Thursday June 14, 2012 at 2 pm in 12th Street Church of Christ, Shallowater with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 13 from 5 to 7 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. Anita passed away Monday June 11, 2012 in Lubbock, TX. She was born March 1, 1934 in Shallowater, TX to Roy and Bessie Marr. Anita lived her whole life in Lubbock County and passed away at Odyssey Hospice from breast cancer.

Anita is survived by 2 daughters, Janice (Kenneth) Miller of Shallowater and Collene Storrs of Lufkin; son Walter (Annette) Storrs of Stephenville, TX; 1 brother, J.W. Marr of Abilene, TX; 7 grandchildren, Ginna Williamson, Sarah Radford, Jennifer Miller, Jacob Woolridge, Bailey Woolridge, Cody Storrs and Kendal Storrs; 4 great grandchildren, Michael Radford, Alicia Radford, Kassandra Williamson and Jarrod Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
