With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, the Sedor family announces the passing of our kind, brave, caring and unimaginably generous wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Nancy Jane Sedor. Nancy passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024, at Pathways Inpatient Hospice facility in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
Nancy was born on August 1, 1940, to Glen Iver Rudolph Larson and Sylvia Larson (Mach) of Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota.
Nancy was a farm girl at heart and always enjoyed working with her dad. From making hay to chore time, you could always find her by his side.
After graduating from Willow River High School in 1958, Nancy worked at the Moose Lake State Hospital. She later worked as a secretary in the medical field in both Minnesota and South Dakota.
In 1962 Nancy married her high school sweetheart Mike Sedor of Willow River at Faith Lutheran Church in Denham, Minnesota. Nancy and Mike had two children, Todd Michael, and Renae Lynn, who they raised in Brandon, South Dakota. In 1984, they moved to Loveland, Colorado where she spent her remaining years.
Nancy was a talented musician playing the coronet, accordion and piano. She also enjoyed providing piano lessons to the children in the neighborhood. Nancy spent over 40 years bowling on various bowling leagues and coaching young Bantam Bowlers. She also enjoyed playing tennis and softball in her younger years. She was delighted to share her crocheted items.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father Iver Larson, her mother Sylvia Larson, her brother-in-law Ellis Whiting and sister-in-law Barbara Sullins.
Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband Mike, children Todd Sr. (Bonnie) and Renae, grandchildren Todd Jr. (Shayla), Colten Peterson; great grandchildren Cassidy, Todd III, Myka, Ryker and Kamdyn; sister Carmen Whiting, sister-in-law Kathie (Frank) Massey, brother-in-law Art (Shelley) Underhill; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
