Megan Renae Swisher, 42, passed away August 9, 2023 in Leadville, Colorado. Megan was born in Lebanon Indiana, and had resided in Oregon, Colorado and California where she worked in human resources at local colleges and career placement. She loved to dance, to laugh, and tend to her flowers and plants. She involved herself in various charity efforts and will be remembered for her compassion for others. Megan was a graduate of Greeley West High School and attended University of Oregon where she participated on the dance teams. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Tammy Swisher, Loveland Colorado. Brother Nathan Swisher (Danielle) of Greeley, Colorado and their children Jane, Henry, Peter and Adam. Sister Emily Swisher of Denver, Colorado.
A celebration of life will be held September 16th, 2023 from 2pm – 4 pm, at Houston Gardens, 515 23rd Ave. Greeley, 80634.
To honor her memory, donations may be made to Leadville/Lake County Animal Shelter or The Poudre Learning Center.
