Kali Mae Glass

On May 26,1995, Kali Mae Thorson was born to Gary Thorson and Duchelle McCormick in Boulder, CO. Kali was a spunky, smiley, and very independent little girl growing up. She attended school in Berthoud, CO. She was athletic and played many sports, with her favorite being competitive fast pitch. She was small, but she could strike those players out with her pitching skills. She had a circle of close forever friends.

Kali met and married the love of her life, Justin Glass, when he asked her to dance at the Sundance. They became great dance partners and people would stop to watch them dance. She loved country music. Justin and Kali made their home in Cheyenne, WY and welcomed their two sons, Karson & Kacey. Kali was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family. She wasn’t one to sit still. On the weekends, Kali and Justin were side by side building an outbuilding on their property.

Small and mighty, Kali was a big truck mechanic for Linde in Loveland, CO and then moved on to become a mechanic for Total Quality out of Cheyenne, WY.

On November 11, 2024, Kali was involved in an accident and both her and her unborn baby went to be with the Lord.

Kali is survived by her beloved husband Justin, sons Karson & Kacey, stepdaughter Kendall and stepsons Justin Jr. and Austin, parents Gary Thorson and Duchelle (Bill) McCormick, mother-in-law Susan, brothers Jarid, Derek, Billy, Justin and sister Nicki, brothers-in-law John, Jared, Steve and sisters-in-law Julie, Jennifer, Laurie, Brady and Darcy, grandma Connie and grandma Anne and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She’s preceded in death by her father-in-law John Glass, grandparents Chuck and Esther Thorson, and grandpa Henry Lundberg.

A service for Kali will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Allnutt Funeral Service - Hunter Chapel, 2100 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, Colorado.
