Judith M. Bear was born on March 15, 1950 and passed away on December 30, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born Judith Buffo to James and Margaret Buffo of Louisville, CO. She attended school in Louisville and Longmont. On December 30, 1969, she married Leland Bear in Boulder, CO. They had five children, Wendy Lewis of Milliken, LeeAnn Geithman (Alan) of Johnstown, Tricia Bates (Richard) of Loveland, Leland Bear Jr. (Mirya) of Cape Coral Fla, David Bear (Becca) of Milliken, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. She worked as a daycare provider and then as an assistant manager at Kmart in Loveland. Judith loved being with her family and friends. She loved to travel, her favorite place to visit was Italy for her 40th wedding anniversary. Her husband Leland, was in the military, so, many times she had to be both a mom and a dad, which she did a great job. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of life for Judith will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service Hunter Chapel, January 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM. 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 80538. Following the service, will be burial at Johnstown Cemetery at 12:15 PM. 23101 Co Rd 13, Johnstown, CO 80534.
