Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late David Slugg and Blanche Slugg Davies. A graduate of West Scranton High School. Prior to retirement she was a CNA.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to garden and spend time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Susan Clouse of Fort Collins, Peter Matthew Baress of Pennsylvania, Tina Baress of Wyoming, David Long of Fort Collins, Robert “Rob” Long of Hayden; thirteen grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Ciuccio and husband, Michael McHale.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Allnutt Funeral Service, Hunter Chapel in Loveland.
