He was retired from Philip Morris, had owned and operated Cottman Transmission and Masterson Drywall Company, and had also been a realtor. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and a Kentucky Colonel.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his "bride" of 36 years, Linda Yeager Masterson; children, Kirsten Robbins (Jeff) and Ryan Masterson (Tiffany); his parents, Bill and Christine DeMarsh Masterson; siblings, Teresa Wheeler (Larry), Jim Masterson, Kevin Masterson, Margaret Brown (Bernie), Bruce (Janet) Masterson and Brian (Rosemary) Masterson, Colleen Epps (Jeff) and Nile Masterson (Bethany); grandchildren, Caleb and Paige Robbins and Wyatt Masterson; parents-in-law, Ancil and Mary Yeager; brothers-in-law, Walter (Denise) Yeager and Mark (Laura) Yeager; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and a chosen family, Vickie Schuckmann, Karen Pierce, Gayle Cambron and Tom Hillerich; and many friends.
His Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 7501 Tangelo Drive, Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
