William O. Dalton, 80, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was born in White Mills, Kentucky, and was baptized in the Nolin River under the bridge.
William had a hardworking career as he worked for several years in the maintenance department at Kosmos Cement Company and was also skilled as a sign painter, welder, and carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wardrip; his parents, Mary Jane and Virgil Dalton; his sister, Rosaline Lasley; and his brother, Dwight Dalton.
William is survived by his son, Billy Joe (Cindy); his daughter, Janie Lynn; grandchildren, Billy Ray and Kristina; and his great-grandchildren, sister, Debbie (Keith); and brother, David.
Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service-Hardy Chapel is responsible for arrangements. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
