Brother, Estel Thompson and sisters; Margaret Hornbaker, Mabel McFall, Edith Scribner and Betty Cook, and step granddaughter, Grace Wenzel have also preceded him in passing.
Here to carry on his memory is his wife, Catherine Thompson, son, Dale Thompson (Lisa) and daughter Deberah Spaulding (Mike), grandchildren, Morgan Mosley, Austin Thompson and Nicola Spaulding, and step grandchildren; Warren and Lyn Wenzel and Katie and Maria Spaulding, sister, Lucy Casada.
Mr. Thompson was a retired Air Force Veteran after 20 years of service and began working at Capitol Holdings as a computer specialist after his retirement. Tommie was also a member at Melbourne Heights Baptist Church.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 06 from 4-7pm and Saturday, August 07 from 10-11am at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. The funeral service will start at 11:00am inside the funeral home. Mr. Thompson will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his Tommie’s memory to Melbourne Heights Baptist Church.
