Thomas Jack Vogel, age 85 passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born November, 7, 1937,in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Bert Vogel and Dorothy Irene Vogel. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree. Tom worked as a supervisor and in marketing for Ford Motor Company Heavy Truck Division for 37 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. For over 25 years you could find Tom wintering in Key Largo, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ronald Vogel.
He is survived by his loving wife 62 years, Suzanne Vogel, Children: Debra Webb (Carl), Denise Vogel (Chris), Diane Vogel (Deborah), Grandchildren: Jennifer Jones, Joshua Henry (Sammi), Bradley Jones (Kim), Jake Henry (Desi), JT Bagby (Destiny), Ryan Webb (Cassie), Justin Bagby (Addy), 15 great grandchildren, brothers: Dennis Vogel (Janet), Randy Vogel (Debra Jean), and one sister-in-law, Louise Vogel.
A celebration of life is being planned for January 14, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial gifts be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (1500 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, California 90266).
