There are so many memories from our younger days...He was a great person and like the brother I never had. As young teens we would pile up in the VW and get crazy doing what we did best and anyone who remembers those days, knows what Im talking about!!!He was awsome to me and my kids and he and Cindy always opened their doors to us no matter what! Was always there to listen when things were bad... It was a mad house when all 7 (at the time) of our kids were together, but he always remained patient, loving and kind!!! I wish I would have kept in touch more! A few months back we talked and were gonna try and hang out but never got around to it...I regret that ....If you can hear me Tommy..Love and miss you!!! My heart and thoughts are with all the family and friends that he had in his life, we all have been blessed to have had Tommy in our lives!!!

Mike I am so sorry for the loss of your Father.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

TC and I were good friends back in the late 80's early 90's, he would drive down to meade county pick me up and we would drive around the country roads and drink some beers, Tommy was a super cool and great person, he taught me a lot about plumbing when we were both two young plumbers, we were at the stage back then when partying was in but we both still took care of business, he will be missed by me ,my deepest prayers for the Clayton family, with love Phillip Brown 

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the Clayton family.  I have such fond memories of Tommy growing up on Margo Court.  Our siblings were older but Tommy and I were the same age.  I have a specific memory of Tommy and I playing in our backyard and my mother bringing us out hoe-cakes to eat!

There are so, so wonderful memories . the trips to the lake, the Bahamas (his heaven on earth) , the Halloween parties and Tommy just being Tommy . He was our Son-in -law and was then and will always be in my heart . After Lyle passed Tommy has always been here for me . I love him so much , he is family . He was so fun to be with ,so kind , so funny. He was truly one of a kind . He loved life and all of his friends and family. I know in my heart that Lyle met him and was there to take him to his heavenly home .  Always in my mind FOREVER IN MY HEART.  





Lots of great times and laughs had with Tommy during the ole' Glory Days at the lake with our crew!  And we always loved his Halloween spirit making it such a fun night for all of the kids with all of the decorations he put out every year!

For such a quiet guy, he touched so many people's hearts who I know are broken right now and gave us all some funny memories that we can't help but smile at during such a sad time.

My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends for such a sudden loss of a great soul.  

 My prayers are with you all.

My old friend you will be missed,The night the neighborhood came together and went   Across the river to go canoeing . Me and you getting flip one minute after getting in and everything being wet and losing half the food we had the best time my old friend you will be missed .........

So many years and so many memories... He was truly one of the best men I had the pleasure to meet and date. Our kids grew up together and the news of his passing is devastating to us all. We love you Tommy! You will be missed beyond words. My prayers go out to his family and the ones that loved him...

We always had so much fun on Halloween around the pond at Lyle and Debbies. One year, Tommy came dressed as a clown. We were all acting silly eating our chili and our beans soup Tommy stepped backwards into the pond with the great big feet from his costume. We almost had to fish him out literally! Will never forget all the Halloween parties he made them awesome! We will all miss you for the awesome guy that you were.

I wish I had a smart phone during this memory I am about to share. I am sure if I did, we would have caught this moment on camera. I had the privilege of going to Colorado with the Clayton family. Tommy watched as Jessica, Jordyn, and myself learned to ski down the slopes. The next thing Jessica and I see as we are getting on the lift is Tommy attempting to get OFF the ski lift, no ski lessons for Tommy, he was ready to conquer the mountain. If anyone has attempting this, you know how hard it is! After a couple tries, Tommy was off the lift and down the slopes, at a very fast rate!!! Legs one way, arms the other. We laughed and laughed as he made his way down the slopes. It’s one I’ll never forget.
