Sheila was born in Louisville on June 22, 1951 to Joseph Helm and Juanita Helm Childress.
Sheila was an Eastern Star member and enjoyed church, singing, and was very involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives.
She is survived by her beloved children, Greg Chancey (Danielle) and Kelly Richmond (Randy); grandchildren, Taylor, Madalyn, Grace, and Landan; mother, Juanita Childress; and sister, Linda Milliner.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Evergreen Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Thursday and from 12pm-2pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations in honor of Sheila may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
