Sharon Diane Lawrence

She was born on February 22, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents’ James Edward Tindall, Sr. & Florence Elizabeth Emert. Sharon held an Associate’s Degree from Spaulding University in Medical Billing & Coding. She a retired Warehouse Fulfillment Picker with Amazon and was member of the American Legion Auxillary of Post 193. Sharon and her late husband, James, spent many summers at their camp at Nolan Lake. Sharon had a big heart, always involved in many different charities and organizations, including events with the American Legion Post 193, Veterans Day, Easter and Christmas Events.

Her parents, James Edward, Sr. & Florence Elizabeth Tindall; husband, James William Lawrence, Sr.; children, James W. Lawrence, Jr. & April Talkington; grandson, Michael Patrick Finerty; great – granddaughter, Serenity Rose Meredith; & sisters, Frances Murphy, Betty Montgomery, Peggy Walker & Vickie Watson, precede Sharon in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael (Norma) Finerty, David Lee Matherly, Janice (Dale) Capito & Kenneth Lawrence; many grandchildren, great – grandchildren; brother & sisters, Delores Stayton, Beverly Nicks, Linda Walker & James (Debbie) Tindall, Jr.; plus, a host of other relatives & friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Soldiers Circle of the Resthaven Memorial Park, where she will rest for eternity alongside her husband, James W. Lawrence, Sr.. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
