Sharon R. Barnett, 61, of Louisville, passed away at her home on Friday, August 20, 2010. She was the former Sharon R. Rickert and a Catholic by faith. She loved to garden, but it was her family that meant the world to her, with all of their accomplishments and the joy they brought to her life. She worked for the Administrative Office of the Courts as a court clerk supervisor.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 26 years, Robert "Bob" E. Barnett; daughters, Jill Bradford and Carol Barnett-Lewis (Orville); siblings, Rick Rickert (Linda), Joyce Guest, Ronnie Rickert (Sharon), and Marsha Summitt; grandchildren, Lauren Feimer (Matthew), Brandon Barnett, Abriah Davis and great-grandaughter, Jayden Mae Feimer.
Sharon's Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday. August 25, 2010, at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am till service time at the funeral home.
