Russell Baker Wigginton, age 94, of Louisville, Kentucky gained his eternal rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Russell was born May 9, 1928, to the late John and Hallie Wigginton.
Mr. Wigginton was a retired G.E. employee where he worked for 35 years. He was also a 50 year member of Masonic Lodge #506 and a lifelong member of VFW Post # 8639. Russell was a United States Marine where he served a duty in China and also served during the Korean War where he was a tank commander, sergeant and platoon leader.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Jean Logsdon and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, 2:00 pm, at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 11:00 am until the time of the service.
