LOUISVILLE - Robert Floyd Walls, 56, passed away on August 4, 2023, in Louisville, KY. Born on March 15, 1967, in Louisville, KY, to the late George Walls Sr. and Linda Lou Riggs, Floyd was a beloved father, brother, and friend.
Floyd was a man with a mind of his own. He was a lover of family, friends, animals, and plants. Floyd had a passion for working on anything mechanical and particularly enjoyed spending time on his beloved tractor. Although he was a skilled carpenter, Floyd was a Jack of all Trades by choice, always marching to the beat of his own drum. His unique spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to be cherished by many.
Floyd is survived by his seven children: Pamela McKinney of Hardin County, KY; George Nation of Shelby County, KY; Jeracho Walls of Bullitt County, KY; Robert Walls II of Hardin County, KY; Richelle Walls of Richmond, KY; "Georgie" Walls of Arizona; and Logan Walls of Hardin County, KY. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren. Floyd is also survived by his siblings: Cindy Riggs of Hardin County, KY; Kirk Walls of Indiana; Pam Peel of Hardin County, KY; Cathy Leach of Indiana; Brittany Nunn, Ester Walls, and Joch Walls of Hart County, KY. Floyd is predeceased in death by his Father George Walls Sr., Mother Linda Lou Riggs, one sister Kimberly Diane Walls and one infant child, Robert Walls Jr.
A private thirty-minute service for family only will be held on Monday August 7th, at Advantage Funeral Home in Louisville, KY, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. Following the service, a graveside service will take place at 12:45 pm Monday August 7th at Valley Creek Cemetery in Elizabethtown Ky.
Floyd Walls touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
