Richard Gerald Deneen, 62, of Mt. Washington, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at his home. He was born September 28, 1947 to Geraldine Bowling Deneen and the late William Deneen. He was a Kentucky Colonel, member of Highland Park Christian Church and a self employed contractor.
He married the love of his life Cynthia Deneen on July 28, 1978. He is also survived by his daughters Melanie (Keevin) Miller, Marcella (Steven) Carter and Michelle (Billy) South; three sons, Richard (Michelle) Deneen, Michael (Shari) Johnson and Jason (Michelle) Deneen; a sister, Renee Hunt; two brothers, Steve Deneen and Jeff Deneen; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and countless friends and many other family members by marriage who love him and will always miss him.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday April 28, 2010 from 4-8 and Thursday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
