He was born October 12, 1938 in Tyrone, PA. Richard was self-employed and owned his own aluminum-siding business. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna Bonsell, as well as four siblings; Milton, Edward, Annajane and May Bonsell.
Richard is survived by his three sons, Richard Jr. (Sharon), David (Karen), and Michael A.(Denise) Bonsell; brother Gerald Bonsell; nephew, James Gragson (Jackie); niece, Buffy Crowley (Neil); grandchildren, Rebekah, David Lee Jr., Michelle, Michael and Samantha Bonsell, Madison and Mackenzie Gragson, Lindsey and Alex Crowley, and the mother of his children Gerry Bonsell Campbell.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road, Saturday November 24, at 2pm, with visitation from 12:00 - 2:00.
