Born to the late Henry and Frances Wilkerson, Renee is also preceded in death by her beloved husband Tommy Gaes; her siblings Diana Step; her step-grandchild Taylor Gaes; and her nephew-in-law Jason Gaes.
She is survived by her children, Brian Jenkins (Nikki), Natalie Morris (Ryan Logsdon); stepchildren Keith Gaes, Troy Gaes (Amanda), Shannon Gaes (Dawn), and Shane Gaes (Staci); grandchildren Madison, Rylee, Kyndal, Dillon, Brianna, Tyler, Kalie, Tyler, Nicholas, Melanie, Alyssa, Ella, and Parker; her siblings Patsy Harris, Michael Wilkerson, Jack Wilkerson, Billy Wilkerson, and Lisa Duff; her sibling in-laws Terry Gaes, Craig Gaes (Geralyn), and Kirk Gaes (Tamie); and a host of extended family and friends.
Renee retired from Genesis Diamonds. She enjoyed gardening and going out to karaoke and shop for shoes. Renee graduated from Sullivan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with marketing degree.
A visitation in honor of Renee will begin on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
