Jean treasured and enjoyed her last years with friends and the wonderful staff at Brownsboro Park Retirement Community. Jean worked many years as an LPN at the old St. Joseph's Hospital and upon it's closing devoted her career to private duty nursing. She was a Christian and member of Southeast Christian Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Betty Probasco and son in law, Lenny Probasco whom she considered her own; daughter, Beverly Gibbons; grand-daughters, Robin Probasco, Wendy Hoffman (Rich), Nikki McAllister (Brian); 8 great grandchildren whom she adored, Lenny, Mandy, Daniel, Taylor, Brooke, Holly, Murphy, Clare "Lucy Lou".
The family would like to thank Hosparus for the loving care provided to Jean.
Her celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2010 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home, Westport Road. Entombment will be in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday.
In place of customary expressions of sympathy the family has suggested memorial gifts to Hosparus.
