Oather L. "Jack" Hamilton, 93, passed away June 17, 2019. He was retired from Hillerich & Bradsby Company, and he was a Navy veteran of WWII, having served aboard the USS St. Paul.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Pauline Hamilton; parents, Oather Paul and Nannie Bryant Hamilton; sister, Mary Elizabeth Huston; and his brother, William "Billy" Hamilton. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Gerald "Jerry" Hamilton(Rebecca) and Kathy Cox; grandchildren, Brian Cox(Elizabeth), Brent Cox, Sarah Hamilton, Kim Johnson(Dennis), and Kevin Fults; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12 noon on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Friday at Evergreen Funeral Home.
