Norma Faye Moreland

Norma Faye Moreland, 75, of Louisville passed away November 22, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 5, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Almeita Newton. She was retired from Bremner Biscuit Company and was a private nursing assistant. Norma was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Gore Sr.

She is survived by her children, Violet Bertschy (Jerry), Issac Moreland (Janie), Sheila Slone, Darlene Gill (Randy), William Moreland, and Lola Stone; grandchildren, Tabitha Baker, Chasity Jackson, Alison Siegert, Alicia Moreland, Sonia Moreland, Monica Hurd, Jessie Donald Gore III, Bryan Wayne Gore, Tisa Revels, William Moreland Jr. and Shelby Stone; 20 great-grandchildren; four step children, Jessie, Vernon, Cheryl and Lisa Gore; a sister, Lucy Murphy (Mitch) and a brother, Robert Lee Clark (Patsy).

A service to celebrate her life will be conducted Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Tuesday and from 10-2 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
