Nikki Rene Cassell, RN

Nikki was born on August 4, 1979 in Louisville, Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Russell Cassell.

Nikki graduated from Fern Creek High School and went on to pursue her career as a RN. She graduated from Galen College of Nursing. Nikki received the Daisy Award for nursing. She was a proud and devoted mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, friend and nurse. Nikki lived life to the fullest and her contagious smile and warm heart will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Alden Blair; daughter, Savvy Newman; parents, Jeff & Debbie Troklus; sister, Laura Cassell; grandparents, Aaron & Wilma Daugherty; niece, Kaylee Cassell; nephews, Hunter & Casen Cassell; and extended family and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will resume on Monday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

A service to honor the life of Nikki will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Nikki will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
