He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Glenn; grandson, Jerry Smith; and brothers, Willie Fanning and Gator Arrington.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Gloria Glenn, Sarah Clayton, Nelson Glenn Jr.(Bernice), James Glenn, Vera "Nana Faye" Smith(Maurice), Brenda Glenn(Bernard), Elaine Glenn, Sheila Adams(Gregory), and Anthony Glenn; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Phillips; sisters-in-law, Lizzie Bell and Alzina Patterson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-12 noon Saturday.
