Nellie Elizabeth Sidebottom

Born on Monday, September 3, 1923 in Louisville, Kentucky Nellie was the daughter of the lates' Walter James Waterbury & Mayme Theresa Magel. She was a retired Supervisor with Louisville Tin & Stove Company for over 50 years. She was baptized and was a member of the Shawnee Presbyterian Church. SHe was a member of the North East YMCA for 15 years. Nellie loved her grandchildren and her great - grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Walter James & Mayme Theresa Waterbury; her husband, Laymon Sidebottom; & siblings, Carl, John, Walter Jr., Willie, Juanita, Harold & Charles precede Nellie in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Theresa (John) Reker; grandchildren, John (Rebecca) Reker, Lee Ann (Demetrius) Diaz; great - grandchildren, Annabel, Jayden & John, III; plus, a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Nellie will be laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums following funeral services. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
