Nancy Groom Kirk ,82 ,passed away Friday, June 1, 2012. She was a charter member of Westport Road Baptist Church, a member of the Kirk Baptist Women, and Daughters of American Revolution.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert Lee Kirk, her 2 children; Robert Stephen Kirk ( Bonnie Gooch Kirk), and Nancy Julia Thomas ( David M. Thomas); Her 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held at Noon Monday at Westport Road Baptist Church, 9705 Westport Road, with interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Sunday in the Parlor of Arch L. Heady at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road.
