Mildred Lee Owen (nee Hockenbury Casey) 90, Thru God's Grace, started her journey to her eternal Home, January 9, 2023, at 2:09pm, in Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with her family by her side.
Born on October 17, 1932, in Sadler, Kentucky, located in Grayson County, to Claude and Stella Decker Hockenbury.
Preceding her in death, husbands Eulos Wade "E. W." Owen, Sr. and Stanley D. Casey, Sr., infant son Stanley D. Casey, Jr., sister Alta Stevenson, brothers Valtas, Hollis, Kendall, and Rodney Hockenbury, and her little dog Sikia.
Survived by her children Ronald Jeremy Owen, Sr. (Teresa), Eulos "Wade" Owen, Jr. (Michelle), Claudetta Sloan, Darlene Gooden, Mona (Jerry) Martin, Doug (Sherry) Casey, Andrea Casey Hager, and Charles (Glenora) Owen. 29 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great Great Grandchildren and 3 on the way. Brothers Claytas (Margie) Hockenbury, Carlos (Debbie) Hockenbury, and Cledith (Betty) Hockenbury.
A funeral service for Mildred will be on Monday at 1:00pm at Advantage Funeral Home (10907 Dixie Highway) with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday at 1:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Visitation will also be on Monday from 9:00am until service time.
