Michael Glenn "Mike" and "Pop" Ernst, 65, left this world on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023 to be reunited with family and friends who have passed before him, along with his Lord and Savior. He was born on November 28th, 1957. Mike’s loving soul was raised by Louis and Mary Ernst in Louisville, KY. He was a servant to his Lord, family, and country, serving in the Navy for two years. His enduring love of church, antiques, Santas, and patriotism will not be forgotten. Mike was a proud father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his two loving children, Philip Ernst(Rebecca), Lauren Williams(Ted); granddaughter, Evelyn Williams; and sisters, Sandra Barton and Barbara Bunnell(Jim). He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Ernst; mother, Mary Ernst; and stepmother, Margie Ernst. We ask that family and friends join us to share in celebration of Mike’s life at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Thursday, February 9, 2023. A memorial service will be 10am Friday, February 10, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
