Melvin Leroy Carter, 84, of Clarksville, IN, formerly of Louisville, passed away March 11, 2013. He was a member of Eastern Parkway Baptist Church and Suburban Lodge #740. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; and son, Robert. He is survived by his children, Sharon Eckenrode(George) and Ron Carter(Sandi); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 12pm Friday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home with interment in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Thursday. Memorial contributions can be made to his church.
