Matthew Wayne Decker, age 40, of Louisville, Kentucky entered into rest on November 1, 2023.
He worked at Raytheon, was a former member of Phi Kappa Tau and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church where he participated in the men's club and volunteered with the maintenance committee. He was one of the picnic chairs for St. Paul's.
Matt is survived by his wife of 14 years, Amy Decker; two sons, Nathan and Brayden Decker; his father, Ron Decker; his mother, Jackie Anderson (Wayne); his grandparents, Exodus Decker and Virginia Skaggs; two brothers, Ronnie Decker (Lisa) and Derek Decker (Abbie); and many nieces, nephews and friends.
His funeral will be on Wednesday, November 8th at 11:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy.
