Mary Elizabeth Murphy, 88 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, on February 2, 1933 to the late Marshall & Beatrice Abel.
During Mary’s life, she was employed by G.E, Coca-Cola, & Louisville Bedding. Mary spent her whole life taking care of people that needed her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Murphy; daughter, Terri McKim; and grandson, Christopher Murphy.
Left to cherish her memory, sons, Mike Murphy (Patty) & Joseph “Hank” Murphy; grandchildren, Trisha Murphy, Liz McKim, Frankie Murphy (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Caleb Willingham, Renleigh Adele Murphy, & Lillian Murphy; and a host of many other family members and friends.
Visitation, Sunday, March 7, 2021, 2-7pm, at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Funeral, Monday, March 8, 2021, 11:30AM in the Arch L. Heady & Son Chapel, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
