Mary Frances (Simon) Malott

Mary Frances "Francie" Simon Malott, 74, passed away on January 09, 2021. She was born to the late Lula and Lawrence Simon. A devoted Catholic, life long parishioner of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She was a 1964 Mercy Academy Alumni. Francie loved needle pointing, playing BINGO, and leaving voicemails. She was a devoted wife, mother, domestic Goddess and wonderful Nanny/Great Nanny to her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a welcoming and caring person, Francie was a proud Kentucky Organ Donor.

Also preceding her in passing is her husband of 15 years, James Malott, brother, Jerry Simon, and nephew, Kevin Sumner.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; daughter, Lisa Malott Tunget and Richard Tunget. Her son, Jerry "Guy" Malott (Amanda), grandchildren; Leann and Bryan Sullivan, Ashley Tunget (Gregg), great- grandchildren; Paityn, Liam, and Teddy Sullivan, sisters; Juan Iovine and Tina Sumner, and missed dearly by her life long friends; Peggy Niemann and L.J. Woods.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 2:00-7:00 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday, January 15 at 10 AM with the burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
