Mary “Ann” Carter, wife, mother and friend, passed away on September 12, 2022.
Ann was a person who, despite anything that was going on, would bring her beauty to the occasion. Her beauty from the heart that was there when needed the most. For us that must go on, we can live in the joy of knowing her and the love she shared.
Ann was not only a talented artist, but an art teacher, as well as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings William Faulkner and Cassandra Briner. Here to carry on her memory is her adoring husband of 59 years, James Carter; their children James Carter, Jr. and Joseph Carter (Peggy); her granddaughter Leslie Carter; and her great-granddaughter Lillian “Lilly” Carter.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Ann’s honor will begin at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
