Mary Ann Black

Mary Ann Keene Wright Black passed away Saturday, January 1st, 2022 at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, IN. She was born on June 30, 1942, in Louisville, KY the daughter of Laurence Edward Keene and Mary Louise Pleasant Keene. Mary Ann was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and worked for Burger King as a Regional Manager. After her retirement from Burger King she helped open and operate Backyard Burgers in Louisville. She volunteered for St. Vincent De Paul and American Red Cross.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Lawrence “Larry” Black, and two sisters: Helen Rowland and Donna Cook, and her brother in law Fred Cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Osborne (Michael), two grandchildren, Molly and Norah Osborne, one nephew, Clarence Logsdon, Jr. (Shannon), one great niece, Ashley Logsdon (Jesse) and two great great nephews, Nathan and Bentley and brother in law, Gerald Black.

Funeral Service will be 10 AM, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church (3938 Poplar Level Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40213).

Visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2022, from 4 PM until 7 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218).

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

The family suggest memorial gift be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
