I hired Mark at Nalco and we worked together for over 15 yrs. His knowledge, loyalty and most important his friendship will always be remembered. He will be missed.

Mark was so very special - he introduced us 40 years ago, thanks to ham radio!  We went to high school together and he had a "friend" that was wanting to meet me.  If it weren't for him, I would have never met the love of my life.  He was in our wedding in 1976 and we just celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary. His mother was a lovely lady. I wish to express my condolences, of course.  Mark is, and will continue to be, sorely missed.

But I also wish to express my most sincere appreciation and gratitude for the love shown at the funeral, and for the universal warmth shown to me, a stranger to everyone except Mark.

Clearly, Mark was blessed with a large, loving family that I had only imagined prior to the funeral service.

To Mark's family and friends---I struggle with putting how I feel into words. He was my friend that I first met in our fraternity days. He was funny, but also serious when appropiate. I remember playing a game with him of giving him random words (like from the ingrediants on a food container) and challenging him to make a pun from them-and he usually could!

There is no one single person to thank more then Mark for my success at Nalco.   I was fortunate to have told Mark this in the last year. This is such a shock.

Mark and I met each other as teenagers in the early 70's, while he lived in Highview, and I was in J-Town.  He and I would have nice chats using morse code on our ham radios in the early mornings. During one of these chats, he introduced me to my wife Debbie, and we have been married now for 36 years.  And through his older brother Don (now also deceased), he introduced me to my current job in the Lexington area, and I'm still there after 35 years now.  The Bush family has been good to us, and we cannot express how much they meant to us over the years.  God bless all who carry on without Mark -- we are all better for knowing him and his family.

To Mark's family and friends, please accept my condolences. Mark was a good friend and fellow adventurer. I enjoyed traveling with him across the U.S. and Europe over the years. He will be missed.

To the family and friends of Mark, I would like to express my sympathy during this time of sorrow.  After not seeing Mark for many years, I recently had the pleasure of working on a project with him up in Michigan.  I feel blessed to have had the time to reminisce with him and hear stories about his family, friends, and NASCAR experiences.  Mark will be truly missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with Mark and his family.

To all of Mark's family and friends:  It was with great sadness that I heard of Mark's passing.  He was a great friend and fantastic frat brother.  No words are sufficient, but I'd like to say he was a good man who enjoyed life.  I will never forget him.  My condolences to all.

I will truly miss one of the best friends I have ever had.  Mark was a mentor at Nalco and over time we grew to become the best of racing friends, attending over 150 different events.  The Indy 500, All-Star races and WOO's will never be the same.  Cup races on Sundays just won't have any punch without all of the sharp-witted text constantly streaming from my friend.  Homestead was the most difficult race I will ever remember watching....alone.  To his family; he loved you dearly and ALWAYS spoke of you positively.  To his surrogate daughters (of Terry); he loved like like his very own.  I will sorely miss you my good friend!

Mark was a co-worker who I helped to support as the administrative assistant to his group.  It was a pleasure to work with Mark as he was always so pleasant and appreciative of any help that was given to him.  May God bless all of the family in this time of sadness.  I know he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mark was truly a great friend to me and I will miss him.  We had many great adventures.
