Mark Alan Brown, age 67, was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 11th, 1956. He is preceded in death by his parents Keith and Doris Brown and brother Gary A. Brown. He is survived by son Shawn A. Brown, sisters Sharon Thompson (Jerry) and Debbie Adcock (Robert), as well as a host of extended friends and family and best friends Mama and Tom Solley.
Mark was a hard-working man who served 30+ years to Local 502 Pipe Fitters until his retirement, where he worked part time at B & J Overhead Door & Commercial Properties. He was a member and Trustee at the Elks Lodge #2052 for many years where he also loved singing karaoke. In addition to being an avid UK fan, Mark was always good with his hands and enjoyed being a personal handyman for his mother and sister Sharon. His happy place was the Carribean Islands and adored vacationing with Sharon to Aruba, Mexico, and Florida with the Solley's.
Services will take place Thursday, March 21st at 1:30pm at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road Louisville, KY 40222. Visitation will be prior to service from 10am-130pm. A burial service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy Louisville, KY 40213.
