Margaret Ann "Peggy" Bischof, age 74, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was born on January 02, 1950 to the late Salvador and Helen Campisano. Peggy was raised by her loving, generous, and kind foster parents Theodore and Georgia Elizabeth McKinnley until they passed on away before her 20th birthday.
Along with her parents and foster parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Michael Ray Bischof; siblings, Mary Helen Campisano, Henry Paul Campisano, Theresa Jane Campisano, Frances Marie Clark, Salvador J. Campisano Jr., Janice Faye Martin; Granddaughter, Marijah Renee Cummins, several cousins, nieces, nephews and her faithful beagle Buddy.
Left to cherish Peggy's memory are children, Renee Kilgo (Jamerson), Jennifer Ludwig, Chad Bischof (Amanda), Īan Bischof (Jasmine), and Zenakyah Bischof; grandchildren, Dakotah (Shelby), Justin, Michael, Josiah, Titus, Elijah, Jamey; great-grandchild, Brylie; and siblings-"in-love", Audrey Newman (Harry), Vincent “Boots” Bischof, Jr. (Wendy), Joseph Bischof, Barbara Ewan; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A visitation for Peggy will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home from 11 a.m. - 2:00p.m. with a funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home. Peggy will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
Peggy's family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Nurse Nicki, Dr. Nestor, and the staff of Hosparus of Louisville who cared so compassionately for both Peggy and Ray in their final days.
