Louis Aloysius Mcknight

He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He also was a retired Engineer with Lucent Technologies. After he retired, he was a Real Estate Agent for fifteen years.

His mother, Alma Receveur McKnight, precedes Louis in death.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 yrs. Brenda McCollum McKnight; sons, Steven McKnight and Glenn McKnight; grandchildren, Trevor and Kayla McKnight; father, Walter McKnight(Mercedes); siblings, Jimmy McKnight(Bruce), Betty Kirchgessner (Al), Janet Rowe(Allen), Tommy McKnight(Jan), Kathy Gardner(Michael), Peggy Warner(Gary), Charles McKnight(Debbie), Mark McKnight(Bonnie), Ralph McKnight(Kennetha), Robert McKnight, Ronnie McKnight(Kim); and a host of many other family members and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Louis will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219. Visitation will be Thursday & Friday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
