Lois Ann Dowell, 85, passes away on Saturday, November 22, 2019. She was longtime member of Highview Baptist Church and retired from Jefferson County Public School Board.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruby Roman.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 63 years, Theodore Dowell; children, Melissa (James) Cooper, Michele (Joseph) Falk; grandchildren, J. Matthew Cooper, Michael Cooper, Victoria Falk, Caleb Cooper, and Stephanie Falk; sister, Betty (Emmett) Patterson; nephews, Mark (Peggy) Patterson, David (Jessica) Patterson; and many other family members.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Masonic Home and Hosparus for their love and care of Lois during her final days.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Evergreen Dignity Chapel with the visitation on Friday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Lois' honor should be directed to Kosair Charities.
