Linda and Ken.....I can't think or believe he is gone.Ken was a great brother -in law. I was 9 when he married my sister Linda...he was family in every sense of the word.  I love him and I know he is with God and with all the family who have gone before him.......love Brenda Goodman Brown

I trained with Kenny when I first hired in at the L&N Railroad in 1969.  He was very helpful and we were always friends.  I enjoyed working with him.  Will miss him at our retiree luncheons.

One of my childhood memories is the Atwood Sunday School Labor Day picnics and watching "Kenny" and Larry, along with all the other guys playing ball. I couldn't wait to get old enough to play! I do remember that those Wright brothers were good! Though I deeply regret the loss his passing brings, I do rejoice that Kenny is now with Jesus, his Lord and Savior. I worked with Ken many years. He took his work serious even while trading baseball cards at work. Kentucky and Louisville basketball were his favorite sports. I cant mention enough good words for Ken's outstanding character.
He will be sadly missed by his fellow employees and family.

I’m proud to be one of Ken’s many cousins. As an older cousin he was able to help me fill in some holes about my grandfather who died before I was born and even about my great grandfather as well. I will miss the family gatherings where stories of family members I didn’t know very well or in some cases at all were told and occasionally retold. Ken is good man and I count myself as one of many that will miss him sorely.

My condolences to Kenny's family.  I was born March 24, 1944 and went to school with Kenny.  I lived around the block on Springdale and Kenny and I were great friends at Durrett.  I would go to his house to play baseball in the street and wave at the trains.  My uncle was an L&N engineer and he would give extra horn when he passed by.  I remember Kenny with kindness and must say I remember him with a lot of fondness and was one of his first girlfriends.

Kenny was such an amazing person. He was one of the sweetest people I met when beginning my railroad career at CSXT more than twenty years ago. He always had a kind word and a great story. 
You will be missed sweet soul!

When family would get together and share so many memories which always included laughter those were special times. He had an exceptional 
Carrier with the railroad which he was very proud of and rightly so. Kenny had a blessed life 
Do to his walk with the Lord. As a believer you know he is not lost, but called to Heaven to live an eternal life. Filled with no more pain , no more sorrow. Gods word tells us in 
Psalms 147:3
He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. Indeed family and friends will miss him
But can also rest assured he is now truly

To the Family of Mr. Kenny Wright, I'm sorry to hear of his passing.  I worked with Kenny many years at Southpoint in Jax.   He was always  trying to get me to buy TN football cards, he loved to collect them and sale them to us.  May your fond memories help you during this difficult time.

Kenneth is preceded in death not only by his parents but by his brother, George Hansford and infant grandchild, Brandon Phillip Allen.


Left to cherish Kenneth's memory is his wife of 57 years, Linda Wright; two sons, Todd Wright and Tim Wright; two brothers, David and Larry Wright and many nieces, nephews and cousins, plus a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
