Kenneth H. Deddens, 89, of New Albany, Indiana was born on December 5, 1933 to Theodore Deddens and Mary Rose Schmuckie Deddens in Louisville, Kentucky. He passed away April 26, 2023. He served in the Army from 1954 to 1956. He was retired from American Synthetics Rubber. Predeceased besides his parents, was his first wife, Colletta, and his brothers, Joseph (Mary) and Theodore (Joyce).
He is survived by his wife, Emma Hawkins-Deddens and children, Phil (Carla), Marian Plante, Ray (Mary Kay), Helen Faith (John), Tony (Rosie) and a step-son, David Hawkins (Cheryl), 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Lou, KY 40213. A service to honor the life of Kenneth will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
