Kenneth Bohannon

Kenneth Bohannon, age 66 passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023. He was born on March 10,1957. He was a graduate of U of L's Speed Scientific School. He retired from Commonwealth of Kentucky as an Environmental Engineer. He was a past President of the Buechel- Fern Creek Jaycees.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his loving parents Joshua and Theresa Bohannon, and brothers, Timothy and Ronald.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy, and his precious daughter, Caroline Bohannon. He was the dear brother of Carolyn Ball (James) and special brother to Pat Tobbe (Bud). Bo was the fun-loving brother-in-law of Jim and Kim Kammer, a special uncle to many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews. Bo was a cherished friend of Garry Mattingly. He loved his dogs, Keegan and Gracie beyond measure.

Bo loved celebrating all holidays with his family, grilling out, and playing games and cards. He loved trips to French Lick with Judy and playing poker at the casino. He loved having fun, especially at the beach and on the family Hawaiian trip.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial gifts be made to: WHAS Crusade for Children C/O Fern Creek Fire and EMS (PO Box 91025, Louisville, Kentucky 40291).
