Karen Lynn Berger

Karen Lynn Berger, 59, of Louisville, passed away July 3, 2019. She was born February 23, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Glenn and Jeanette Keen. She was avidly involved with Icehouse and Alcoholics Anonymous. Karen was a kind, generous soul who never met a stranger. Throughout her life, she touched many hearts with her friendly, outgoing personality. She loved her children and her family more than anything in this world, and was always very accepting and encouraging no matter the circumstances. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by her husband, Steve Berger. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brittany Jobbitt(David), Amanda McGrath(Brandon), Teddy Berger(Ali), and Austin Berger; grandchildren, Brandon McGrath Jr., Ashlynn McGrath, Mason Jobbitt, Jaxon Berger, Jaden Berger, Jorden Berger, and Nevaeh Hutchins; brother, Doug Keen(Joanne); sister, Tricia Culbertson(Steve); and her nieces, Lauren Tinker and Morgan Keen.

Funeral service will be held at 6pm on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2pm-6pm Monday. Memorial donations in Karen's memory are suggested to Icehouse, 1400 S. Shelby St. Louisville, KY 40217.
